February 3, 1997 Diversified Employment Service, Inc. began its ground floor operation. Every job and every employee was still a mystery. Through hard work and conserted effort we exceeded our growth curve for the year in three months. Those first three months had their challanges, however things began to move forward. As our client base grew we were able to place more employees. Every nook and cranney were examined to find places to place people. Things were indeed hard, however, seeing people succeed and receiving satisfactory comments from our Client Supervisors, concerning our employees, gave Diversified Employment Service great incentive.

Another opportunity soon came our way. We discovered that there were opportunities in Training "Craft Employees". Mechanics, Instrument - Electricans, Pipefitters, etc., especially those in the apprentist jobs and multi-craft craft skill enrichment programs were needing additional training to advance to Journeymen levels. This gave us renewed vitality and we have seen Employee Advancement and Employee Craft Skill Certifications result from this effort.

Diversified Employment Service has been rewarded in being able to help companies through employment crunches with capable employees and capable employees with job opportunities that has improved their living standard. We have seen young people began successful careers and retired people employed full time and other retirees receiving supplemental income. Also, we have seen hope restored in people who have been phased out from jobs they have held for many years that was caused by downsizing.

September 11, 2001 it seemed as though things stopped. We took a long hard look and saw how vanurable we are. Things seemed as a dream possibly even, a wake up call.

January 4, 2002 Merit Training and Staffing, Inc. began operation as a new business that would be our new Employment Service.

January 4, 2002 Diversified Employment Service would be dedicated totally for all phases of Training.
